I went shopping at GLOW yesterday late afternoon for the first and last time! I spent 1400.00 on 4 dresses and a pair of shoes and I left there with them all wrapped together with a cheap piece of plastic and a shopping bag so small that it didnt even fit the shoe box! The owner helped me with my purchases and at the time was very nice. When I got home, I tried the dresses on again and I decided that I wasnt thrilled about two out of the four. These two dresses were 344.00 and 380.00 and honestly they looked like something I could get at Macy's...so I decided to return them.The store opened at 10am today and I called at about 10:05 and spoke to the "owner" that was so sweet to me yesterday (of course since I was spending $$) and explained to her that I had changed my mind about two of the dresses and wanted to return them. She then became extremely nasty and said "well you loved them yesterday when you bought them" and "you can come in and look for something else" Meanwhile I was in her store for over and hour yesterday and tried everything on. If I like other things I would have purchased them then! She also said that they have a strict policy about not accepting returns. They will only exchange. And that is every "boutique" stores policy. I shop at boutique and very high end stores all the time, and I have never been treated so rudely in my life. Yes, I understand her policy and yes some boutiques only except exchanges BUT I just bought the dresses yesterday..and she is the owner who can easily make an exception to her ridiculous rule. Instead she was rude and yelled at me. She would rather lose a customer who could possibly bring her store a lot of business. I spend at least 5000 a month on clothing. Im guessing this is why her store is always empty and already has bad reviews all over the internet. In conclusion I will never spend my money there again and I will be sure to tell everyone in Red Bank what terrible customer service they have there. Not to mention the fact that she has a terrible selection of clothing!!! She carries one size of each item.. Dont waste your time or money at this store, go to CoCo Pari in Red Bank.
