My 14-year old diabetic cat received excellent care. The vet and other staff members took lots of time to explain the insulin regimen, and they even called me at home a few days later to check up on my cat.

I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere because I do not like their business practices.  Be careful dealing with this organization.  My experience has been that the veterinary clinic uses the boarding service to get additional business.  When I first decided to use the boarding service 6 months ago, there was a rigorous set of requirements, for which I complied.  I was then subject to a variety of marketing materials encouring me to use the veterinary service (I already have a local animal clinic that  I am very happy with so I have not changed).  The most recent incident (and why I am posting this) deals with an “update” from the veterinary clinic that my dog needed a specific test.  I declined.  Several weeks later when  I scheduled the next boarding time, I was told that the “test” needed to be performed prior to allowing my dog to be boarded.  Please note, I complied with the boarding service’s every initial requirement.  This recent test is now a requirement that I apparently wasn’t told about.  In other words, it seems very convenient that the test veterinary clinic wanted to perform on my dog is now a requirement to have my dog boarded.

I love the vet. She is amazing and we always go to her for out cats. The office staff can be a little terse, especially on the phone. On our last visit I could hear my cat crying in the back room and a male vet tech making fun of her. It was really heartbreaking for me and I wasn't sure what to do. I think the staff could do with sensitivity and customer service training.

But, the vets themselves are amazing and really care for the animals and some of the staff is nice. Its just hit or miss.
