I have nothing except positive experiences at this gym. I don't understand others complaints.
I had a great experience with Dan as well. Very upfront and honest about everything. Very professional and honest. 
I come at an early time, so getting on equipment is never a problem for me. 
The only issue I do have is the aged equipment. The gym does have everything you need, however it seems like owners need to update certain things.
The friendly staff and management supersedes and negativity that may be said.

The Manager, Danny is so friendly and informative. He doesn't lie about fees or try to manipulate- I've been reading these horrible reviews about manipulation & hidden fees, Personally, I think it's great! I don't know about the rude staff you guys speak of, it might be true for you but not from my experience or my husband's. He loves working out here! Danny, the manager, is such a gentleman.👍

Just the absolute worst.
I just called to ask them to confirm that my cancellation had gone through (which simply requires them searching my name on the computer and looking at my file, and I've personally witnessed them perform this very simple task before) and was told, before I even finished my question, that I had to call back later and ask to speak with a manager. 
I've received this dismissive type of answer and treatment EVERY time I've called to ask a question and even in person.

Robbed me blind, DO NOT GO HERE. My girlfriend and I both signed up at the same time but were never told our contracts were completely different from each other. She was able to easily cancel once we moved back to Connecticut and now I'm stuck paying a $100 cancellation fee while trying to get together a laundry list of paper work to send in for proof of address. Gym is tiny, dirty, and always packed not worth the 40 bucks a month. The horror story's about golds gym are true but I didn't listen.

I'm unfortunately going to "one-up" people here.  After canceling my account in July, on that same day, the club FORGED a new Membership Agreement, signed it (no where near my signature), put in the terms they would like to see, and I've just caught it now.  OH, and 'somehow', after calling ABC Financial, another member of the club had been authorized on my account, so I was paying their fees too.  I've emailed the General Manager (Julie O'Connell jocgolds@yahoo dot com) and heard nothing back.  This is my credit card company's hands now. I don't even want to go in there.
