First class casino, golf course, restaurants, pool, lazy river, concert venues from real recording artists and comedians, luxurious rooms, and top of the line service from the front desk, bell hops, and valet car service (which is free). I'm just saying, if you have got to lose your money somewhere, it might as well be in a first class joint. They also have a great rewards system that gives you comp rooms, free concerts, food, slot credits, free rounds of golf, and other give aways. I highly recommend this place! Also during the warmer months you can save yourself some money by hanging out at the pool or lazy river all day. I guarantee you will go back time and time again.

Loved it here. Visited at 5 in the morning so all the restaurants were closed except their 24 hour diner which made a 15 dollar cheeseburger but it was good and filled me up. Slot selection was really good, poker room looked fun, table games looked welcoming but did not do table games on this visit, was in a slot mood. The layout of this place is really good. Just think the 1 dollar slots need to be moved to the computer roulette area in my opinion, should put penny slots in that 1 dollar slot area.

We come here often for lunch and dinner. We mainly come for lunch. The only downside is that some of the restaurants are closed for lunch. The restaurant we wanted to go to was closed (Grotto). So we went for our second choice Cadillac Bar and Grill. It was very quiet and our service was extremely fast. Our waiter was wonderful and attentive. Our food came out fast and fresh and was delicious! We give it a 5 star rating!

We actually stayed next door at L'Auberge, but come here sometimes to eat since we are Landry's Select Club Members. We came here on Valentine's day to celebrate and went to Grotto for dinner. We were promptly seated, had a nice view outside on the patio. Our waitress was amazing and really took good care of us. The manager came out to follow up because of the member card and was very pleasant as well. We actually had a good conversation with him! The following day we had late breakfast at the Claim Jumper, and same story. Seated quickly, waiter was very attentive and probably wanted to kill me because I was drinking coffee like my life depended on it...and our food was very very good as well. All around this was a great experience.

Hotel and casino was great! No complaints there. However the service at both restaurants we ate at on property was awful. Had an almost one hour wait after ordering at Grotto before our food arrived. The server told us "sorry about the delay, but we can only cook one pizza at a time in the brick oven". Huh? Assuming that's true, which I doubt, since 2 in our party alone ordered pizzas, wouldn't you think the server would warn us ahead of time?
The morning we left we went to the Claim Jumper for breakfast. Again, our wait for food (I had french toast and my wife had pancakes) was over 30 minutes after it was placed. At one point I asked what the problem was and was told that the kitchen was short staffed. That doesn't explain why multiple tables who arrived after we did we're served ahead of us. To top it off, when I tried to pay with a Landry's gift card, which had over $100 left on it, the server came back 10 minutes later to say that the card didn't go through. I told her it had plenty left on it, so she said "she would give it to a manager" to see if they could make it work. After another 10-15 minutes magically it worked.
Everything else about this place is great, but the service in the restaurants is an embarrassment. Maybe the Billion Dollar Buyer should spend some time looking into the service at his restaurants!
