We have used Golf Glen, started at their old clinic 28 years ago and followed them to their new clinic. Over the years we have taken many different pets for annual checkups or not feeling well. We have nothing but positive to say about treatment and all of the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Paula & Mike Smith

My wife and I have been a client of Golf Glen's since 1998 and we have been impressed with their caring professional treatment of our two dogs and a cat. All of the vets provide extraordinary service as do their technicians and the receptionist. They never hesitate to follow up to make sure that the animals are doing well after a visit. Their pricing is very reasonable and we would hesitate to recommend them to others.

Finding a vet for our bulldog when we moved here six years ago from out of province was a big deal. Thankfully one of our neighbours suggested Golf Glen and we have been so glad they did! Our dog loves going to see the friendly staff, and they have treated him very well over the years. I appreciate their professionalism, kind way with our dog and the timely reminders for check ups, etc.

My dog got brutally ill within a matter or weeks with no explanation from the emerge vet or my previous vet. They simply wanted me to take her to a neurologist for further testing or put her down. I don't know the exact cost of these services (MRI, spinal tap, etc) but I am fully aware they are well out of my budget. She'd had blood work and xrays with no explanation as to what was ailing her. I'd already spent well into $1500 and I hadn't even gotten a diagnosis. I love my dog but we have to be realistic, she's 8 years old and shes had an amazing happy healthy life up until now. I was preparing to put her down (she couldn't even get up without yelping in pain) and decided my previous vet was not an option. She hated the place and she hated the emerge. I wanted to find somewhere she was comfortable with and her medications were going to run out soon. I did some research and asked a few of my clients and found Golf Glen. I spent almost 2 hours speaking with Dr Chandler about my dogs condition and decided on a more conservative route; we decided to play around with a few more meds before "making the decision". I was only billed for the consult fee (under $100 for 2 hours of her time) and the medication. I returned again a week later with a bit more information, we changed the meds (I was only billed for meds this time and spent 45 minutes with the vet) and shes doing great! Although she's not cured shes feeling so much better and things are looking up. We are still playing with her meds but she's on far less then she was and I feel I can call and ask questions with this vet anytime I want without having to worry about my wallet. Thank you Dr Chandler, whether my baby has a few more months with us or maybe even a few years, shes super appreciative and so am I!! I highly recommend this veterinary office, they truly care about their patients.
