Such an amazing place! We didn’t even have to wait long! I was so caught up with being around my friends who’s like my family, that I didn’t even take pictures. I wanted to stay present and cherish being in the moment with them. I can still remember how my pancakes and blt with avocado melted in my mouth. This is a restaurant worth going to.

This was my second attempt at brunch here. The first time I wasn't patient enough for the line. I regret that. I would have been up to the pancakes by now. I noshed on the Two eggs - Scrambled, Home Fries & Sausage. The sausage was great, eggs are eggs, but the home fries were something else. Smothered in so much goodness. The best I've had in a long while. Oh no... now I won't be able to abandon the home fries for the pancakes. But there's real maple syrup!!! My life is so unbelievably difficult. *sigh*

Came in on a whim tonight around 7 to avoid the chilly rain and had a fantastic time. I sat at the bar and ordered the chili and mac and cheese. Both were great, but the best part of my night was definitely the service. Bartender (can't remember his name, but he was wearing an Adidas sweatshirt!) was super attentive and very easy going. I think the owner seated me, and he was always coming back over asking me how my food was and if I needed anything. Food came out in a very timely manner, with my salad (comes with the mac and cheese) and chili arriving within 5 minutes of my ordering and my mac and cheese arriving shortly after I finished them. Also, Dan, another bartender, was by far the highlight of my trip to New York, so entertaining! Next time I'm on the east coast, I'll be back.

I've tried this place 4 or 5 times. I won't write a long review but here is the gist: everything falls short. The service, particularly in the evenings, is terrible lame, slow, and difficult to coerce into cooperation. The dinner entrees are fine at best but quite frankly expensive for what you get. Wine glasses are dirty with water spots. Pancakes are fine but the bacon was raw. Everything just falls short and its quite frankly not worth paying for.

Great pancakes, great eggs, great coffee, and really good biscuits. The strawberry butter is amazing! Their service was very good too. The hostess was really sweet. We sat at the bar and the bartender was pleasant even though she was very busy as she was alone. All in all it was a great experience!
