This is my go-to bike shop in Cap Hill. At the face of it they are an aesthetically pleasing, quaint little shop tucked away up one and half flights of stairs with a well designed logo. Usually this is where most bike shops stop. However, Good weather is different. You can tell within minutes of talking to the two owners, (Jason & Brandon), that they have a love for bikes and rider culture. They listen to your needs and reccomend only the most necessary products. Many times in expressing want for new, shiny, logo laden parts they have turned me towards more practical/comfortable options. The labor rates are spot on and the work usually includes a lesson or explanation about how your bike works so you can learn to maintain/build it on your own. To me thats value and thats why I shop here. Oh, and they have dope parties sometimes... So I hear.

These guys know their bike stuff, and they're super friendly! Very affordable -- will be back for sure.

I found myself in Seattle with a flat tire, no spare, no tools, and a meeting I had to be at in 30 minutes. I googled "bike shops" found this one, made my way to the address indicated and...nothing, no bike shop. You've got to look for the small sandwich board, go through a door, up the stairs, make a left and then a right and you find yourself in a nice clean workspace with a friendly and knowledgeable bike mechanic. I dropped in and he had me out the door in 5 minutes. 5 Star service and knowledge with a minus one star because it's not real intuitive how to get into the shop. I recommend calling the guy if you're lost - that's what I did and he guided me into the shop. Sounds like this mechanic has been through several bike repair certification classes and has experience building custom frames if you're into that sorta thing.
