I brought my Fulcrums in to have tubeless tires mounted and after I mentioned that I already have my own tires, the price to have them mounted went up to $75 for each tire. I've since found a place to mount them for ~$20. I understand supporting your local bike shops, but not when they gouge you on the service if you don't bundle product purchases from them also. I won't be going back to get any more estimates.

We've needed air for bikes and strollers a number of times and they've been super-helpful and friendly.  We bought my child's first bike here and plan to return for future family bike needs.

I use the shop for most of the maintenance I don't have the tools for.  They do an excellent job and are good at suggesting lower cost alternatives for various parts and services.  I appreciate this approach.  
During the summer months they can be very busy.  I just lock up my bike and go across the street for a coffee and watch for the crowd to subside.
