What a jewel this place is. Everything you could possibly want at a hardware store and everyone is helpful and friendly. It's like having family in the business!

This store is the kind of place anyone can go to get a one of a kind experience the best service bar none and if they don't have it you probably don't need it Dan Mike and the boys are with out a doubt some of the best people I have had the pleasure of doing business with wether professionally or personally I'm happy we have them in town I will forever be a customer

My husband and I moved to Connecticut last year from Paradise Valley/Scottsdale, AZ. We have never been treated so badly before. (Over the cost of a screw). We went to shop at Goody's True Value Hardware. There is an empoyee who asked my husband how much he thought a screw we needed was; he litterally had attitude because my husband guessed wrong. While walking away alks away....in a snotty way, challenged my husband and accuses my husband, (in a round about way) ....of wanting something for nothing. My husband honestly did not know how much that screw was. The manager walks to the counter and we my husband tells him every, the manager very rudely said take your screw and never shop here again. I reminded the manager that we are not shopping at Walmart and that we wouldn't ask to buy something for nothing. I then said I don't like you, (very nicely) and then he said back, (very rudely and aggressively) well I don't like you either. Well, I don't believe this is appropriate manager Behavior. As we were leaving my husband put a $5 bill on the counter and said I don't need a free gift I pay for what we get..... Eight Action News will love to hear our experience.
