I have been flying over 25 years and have seen many flight schools.  I just love the spirit of Pressley Aviation Flight School.  Leighton Pressley loves his job and promotes safety in a fun, relaxed environment.  I have watched Leighton teach, and he is patienly thorough.  The flight school building is a first class facility for getting the flight education you need to fly with confidence.  The flight instructors are enthusiastic and professional. This place is like HOME!  Some people take the freeway, some people choose to enjoy the journey.  Those of us who fly out of "The Goose" are the latter.  Once you fly here, all others are large and impersonal.  This place has personality and charisma.  Great place to learn, great place to hang out and talk flying and great place to have an event!  Leighton goes all out to provide a great customer experience!

Goose Creek is the best place to learn flying. You don't even have to listen to me... I am going to point out some major & most important facts about learning to fly. The most important thing in this area is money. It is so expensive to learn to fly. So here are some points that you need to know before you pick a airport to learn to fly..
1) Which plane you want to learn to fly on?
(At goose creek you have every plane that you will think to start flying from - realistically )
2) How many planes does the facility have so that you don't have to wait while some one else has allocated the desired plane. ( they have more than 5 planes of their own which i know of and well maintained and inspected)
3) What is the turn around time from maintenance. (less than 2 days)
4) Who are the instructors & what are their experience. ( i have known the instructors from my experience, they are the best and each one of them are flying for more than 10 years and If i am not wrong Mr. Pressley himself has more than 20 years of experience)
5)  How long is the taxing time on the run way  ( This is the MOST IMPORTANT fact about any airport, because the longer the taxing time & wait time is the more MONEY you will spend. Goose Creek there is NO WAIT TIME or NO Taxing time to Run way) You take out the plane and you are on RUNWAY. 

I think enough of selling about the airport. I would Suggest go at the Airport your self and check yourself even before you listen to me. And make sure you check other Airports as well so that you waste your time just like I did before I started going to Goose Creek. But it will give you a sense that you made the right Decision.
