Went to Gordmans in Independence today (called first to check balance on card) get my Christmas shopping done and proceed to checkout. Mind you I had zero balance. Anyway guy rang up purchase and my card wasn't being accepted. What the heck???? He gave me a number to call, I did and lo and behold because we shopped at Blue Springs store and they closed they just closed my account and didn't transfer to the bank that does their charge cards now. Yes I could have filled out for a new card but why? Since I am and always have been a very good customer they should have contacted me to see if I would like the new credit card or close the account. No they closed account AND notified credit bureau as such but made it look like I did it and yes it lowered my credit score!!!!  Guess I'm not going to shop Gordmans again even if I have other means of payment. The way I'm taking it Gordmans does not care about customers anyway.

My niece's love the gifts I get them from Gordmans. Trendy without the high price tags! And extended holiday hours! ☆☆☆☆

Worst experience of my life. Bought a pair of booties that had a nail sticking out of the sole  inside. Came to return them along with the outfit that I had to buy the day prior with the booties that was worn for 6 hours. Yes they are worn yes they were covered in lint , but since I wont be purchasing there any longer they should have given me a full refund for the entire outfit. the manager said they would not take the clothes as a return, only the booties because the clothes  were not in resellable  Condition. So since they resell all of their returns, I hope nobody gets that pair of booties with a nail sticking out of  The sole on the inside. Quality of the items is extremely poor and so is their customer service.

I love Gordmans and they've done better. The wait was crazy.  Over a 30 minute wait to make a return. They only had 1 register open. One person behind me just left. 
Hopefully they get it together because I really like this store.
