Heard a lot of positive feedback from friends who told us how great the food was, so my party was pretty hyped. When we got there, we were seated in under 5 minutes (after we made an OpenTable reservation), and after placing our order, we were given the basic starters of miso soup and a side salad about 5 minutes after. However, after about 15 minutes of waiting, we were informed that the kitchen was behind on orders. We had to put forward our best effort to be patient and understanding, but we ended up waiting 45 minutes for the first real appetizer we ordered. The entrees came in at 50, 55, and 60 minutes in, respectively. At the end of our meal, we were not offered any type of compensation for our time, at all. Nor did any manager or supervisor approach our table at any time during the extraordinarily long wait. We really wanted to love this authentic Japanese restaurant, but after about 30 minutes, my party was seriously considering walking out and grabbing some fast (or at least, faster) food. This experience has been negative enough for us to likely never return, nor will we be recommending this restaurant to our family and friends. P.S. Many thanks to our server who apologized profusely for the wait, and regularly checked in on us throughout the long evening. Servers were not to blame in any way, and we wish them the best.

I tried the lunch roll combo and uni. The lunch roll was amazing - a lot of food, and great quality. It was my first time trying uni and it's not really my thing, but apparently it's great if you like uni.

Best sushi I have ever had, always friendly, always fresh. I have been going since I was 4 years old. However, for the past 5 months I have tried to call for a reservation, they dont answer the phone EVER and when I walk in they are always booked. 5 stars for everything else though. Much love

The staff was friendly and always had a smile on. I sat at the bar where the younger chef was at. He was able to create two complete sushi rolls using a few items that I requested. Also, I had one of their popular roll but since I don't like any spiciness, he was able to make it non spicy for me. I cannot complain because everything was great.

Fast, great customer service, clean and best of all the fish!!!! Omg, heaven. Most of their fish is wild caught and you can just taste quality. Amazing, so far this is the sushi joint to go to in central coast.
