My first time at Gospël felt like a dream. Music was top notch and I met the most amazing people from all walks of life. I can’t wait to go back. I’d recommend to go early by 11:20PM and you won’t have any problem getting in. It hits capacity very quick.Service: 5/5
This used to be Soviet Art-Deco lounge PRAVDA famous for best drinks in the city and really good finger food turned into upscale lounge/night club. This place has a hype for a quiet some time and is NYC vanity fair at its best. They are following the path of One Oak, making this place super exclusive. You will need to reserve a table and make sure to bring a good ratio of men/girls. For the 6 guys, they obligated us to get at least 3 bottles. The initial bill of $2500 got inflated at the end of the night to 4K we had ordered some drinks from the bar, but still, this jump is pretty steep. The worst part that two of our friends wanted to join our table, but they told us that they had to pay $500 each. But don't get me wrong, I had a really good night there and lots of fun. Yes, it was overpriced but pretty solid fun. So if you want to feel exclusive, make a reservation, bring some girls, and get ready to pay lots of $
Headed here for the first time for a ticketed event. Since it was a ticketed event and I did come with friends to see A DJ, we didn’t go all out with our outfit. At the door they told us it was full capacity but as we stepped off the line they told others that it was their attire. I overhead the lady in the front point out what appropriate dress wear would be, and she pointed at a girl wearing heels and slacks. Again we came to see a DJ… we did get a refund so all good on that end. Just leaving this for others so they don’t waste a day heading out to the city for something they’re not even allowed to go into EVEN if they paid for it.
Avoid Gospel Club – Ridiculous Entry Fees for No Reason! I tried to walk into Gospel Club on a Wednesday night at 12:50 AM, and it wasn’t even busy. But the woman at the door hit me with a ridiculous offer: she said I could “be taken care of” if I paid $1,500 for a table—for two people! Seriously?! On a quiet Wednesday night? The vibe wasn’t worth anywhere near that. It’s insane that they’re charging these prices when the place isn’t even packed. Complete waste of time, and they’re clearly trying to take advantage of anyone who walks through the door. Save your money and your time—there are way better spots in the city!
Glad to go once so I never have to go again. Most passive aggressive and judgmental door people made entry feel like a frat party. Drinks are comically expensive, peaking at $10 for WATER. Gratuity is included in every bill, AT A BAR. The ego it must take to run this place is astounding. It’s really a shame

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY DISCRIMINATE AGAINST FAT PEOPLE AND PEOPLE OF COLOR. I was told I can show up for walk in and discretion was up to the door. When I was awaiting on the line the door person passed right by me to speak to the people not of color behind me. It wasn't until I called for her attention that she came to me. I then was told that it is a 300 dollar minimum to enter and I informed her that I reached out through your RSVP system Whats app and was told I can either walk in or pay a bar minimum reservation. The lady at the door stated that the person who messaged me back was telling me false Information. I then reached out to the person again and they stated I should be able to enter its up to door discretion. When I showed her the message she then had someone else try to take care of me for this person to tell me the same thing. I mentioned I do not drink and I'm solely here for DJ CAIIRO. She stated I can not be allowed in unless I pay the 300 dollars or invite more FEMALE FRIENDSit's 2024 stop sexualizing woman for your business. Once she said that I walked away. I then proceeded to message the whats app person to inform them of everything that transpired and as you can tell by the screenshots, their clearly on the same mindset as the people working the door.
Wanted to see the DJ Moojo. They wanted to charge $300 for entry min spend. Had to text them on WhatsApp to confirm price and tickets. Using 2008 technology and charging 2029 prices. Absolutely clown show.Food: 1/5
22usd a pop for a specialty cocktail but the MUSIC is EVERYTHING. The venue is very intimate with a bar area and a basement room for dancing and has a boho vibe to it. Dj Hallex M from Hong Kong was spinning his wicked tribal house all night long. We were on the guest-list and got in right after opening without any waiting. “Dress To Impressstyle” dont say I dont tell ya. It is a Tribe after all.
Security would not let me park on the public street near their bar because they said it was "reserved." Loudly for the people in the back: business do not get to "reserve" the public parking on their block. Excellent way to lose a customer and gain a 311 complaint.Food: 1/5
