Great drinks. Cool vibe. Love the music and decor. Can't wait to go back. We sat at the bar because even though the lounge looked empty, the couches were reserved. So apparently you can reserve space which we will definitely do next time.
Sexy, burlesque vibes with a hint of cozy and intimate is how I would describe this place. I had a friend rent the upstairs for a birthday and we had a blast. The staff is friendly and there’s so much space for large groups. I didn’t even realize there was an upstairs until this birthday party. I highly recommend it and look forward to going back on a normal night out.
Amy and her team helped me plan a wonderful engagement. They played amazing music on the night and helped create an amazing ambiance. I’m so happy I chose Madame X as the location
Fabulous and fun place. Madame X is a gem! The space is cozy and sexy as promised with a variety of vintage couches. Do try the speciality drinks, they are SO GOOD. Fresh juices and yummy flavors will have you coming back for more. GREAT music from the DJ. Me and my friends had so much fun here. Can't wait come back for one of their special events!

Was the perfect venue, for our official Madonna madame x album release party. But besides that, it's the core is very boutique style dim red lit rooms and a very cute garden out back. It's a very seductive atmosphere with red lighting, an upstairs what's a little terrace that's enclosed. Also in the wall upstairs there is a place to lay and chill with dim lighting which is very cool if you want to talk with someone or post cool pictures oh, I enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The bartenders that were working there made the drinks very good there was strong but not too strong. $8 for a mixed well drink in the East village is pretty damn good. They also had signature drinks that were very pretty to look at an serve them and nice glasses so I give the bar staff five stars alone. I will have to go on a regular evening to see what kind of music they play. It's a lounge type feel as well and they serve food and there are tables. I fear in New York City check out Madame x cabaret / bar / lounge West Houston.
The red room I call it. This is where my girlfriends took me for my birthday. It was mi t first time going and I had a great time. The drinks were good not to over powering, the music was mellow. When we got there it was still happy hour, the place was empty but after some time it started to pick up. The place is dark vampiric feel to it. Or a BDSM feel. Theres no food and that's ok. It's just a lounge where you can go and hang out with out the crazy. The staff was attentive with the drinks and service. I'll definitely go back
Don’t want to give away ALL my dope NY spots but this one is simply amazing. Another NYC staple. Awesome Happy Hour, dope bartenders, with one of the most unique atmospheres and and furnitures you can come across hanging out with friends or partner in crime. As Sting would say Put on the RED LIGHT!!!
This intimate lounge is a nice hangout with good music and great vibes. You can relax and people watch as the night rolls on. The bar is a great area to mingle with other people or drift to the back and hang out on the couches.
Went last Wed it was 90's R&B night. How could you go wrong? I stood with beer and had a glass of noir at the end of the night. Wine had been opened a lil too long but, let's be real; u go to Madame X for the atmosphere, velvet couches, weird pictures with friends and ability to smoke up out back. Not the wine. Bartender was chill, Bouncer was cool too. Had a great night, would definitely come back.
