Funny, over the years I have had occasional need to speak to someone in this office as a citizen. Had occasion to call this office today and basically was shuffled to several voice mails and was basically left to wonder when/if I would receive a return call. My complaint was about the DEFACS office in Monroe, Ga. not answering their phone when I tried to report suspected child abuse. 
When a representative finally called back: I was told to submit something in writing if I had a complaint. If we can judge a society by the way we treat our children: I'm afraid that history will judge us lacking.
