The Original landmark Gran Caffè L’Aquila was destroyed in a historically devastating earthquake.

Pros: Great quality good, service, and atmosphere at a fair price. Very filling. Cons: Food was mediocre on reheat. Online reservation system didn't work so I had to reschedule over the phone. It can be a little loud inside. Thoughts: Gran Caffe L'Aquila is a really great place to eat if you have a little extra to spend and lots of room to eat.

Wonderful homemade pasta as part of a traditional Italian menu. Many of the staff are of Italian or European descent which provides a element of authenticity. There is a large print of "An American Girl in Italy" which is a bit offensive however I believe they are planning to remove it for this reason. That aside, the food, the staff, the service, and the decor are all great. One unique aspect of the restaurant is the recommended pairing of gelato with many of the menu items. This makes it hard to resist opting for dessert.

Though the food was beautifully presented, it was mediocre in taste and overpriced for what it is. I was definitely underwhelmed at best. On the up-side, the staff is super professional, the decor is attractive, and the atmosphere is inviting. I wouldn't go back for a meal. Maybe just coffee and desserts.

The restaurant never misses a beat. Every one and every thing is always perfect. Go any time order any thing. It will be incredible.

The staff is very friendly and it's always nice to here individuals speak Italian. Grabbing a seat at the bar is the best option if you're flying solo. Plus, the food is flavorful and delicious no matter where you sit.
