Great place for a nature walk Take your walk in the morning before temperatures peak to enjoy yourself more. There are multiple trails ranging from 0.5 to 5 miles. Very neat to see FLA natural beauty up close. Take to time to sit in a rocking chair to enjoy the views. Great place to have a short stop The trails are not very long, but there is enough to see. Different animals, different type of plants and trees and a great view of nature! There is also a small visitor center with different temporary exhibition

A magical place with so much peace and calm. The nature's beauty is breathtaking. I so wanted to come back especially that they were hosting artists for Black History Month the week after but there was no time.

The swamp hike programs are educational and teach non natives how to be comfortable in a new ecosystem. Nandi is informed, polite and encourages children to get into the swamp and fall in love with nature. Compared to other area "hikes" which are boardwalk based and crowded, I felt more in nature than I have while in Florida. We will be back many more times.

This was my first time visiting Grassy Waters Nature Preserve. It is definitely one of Florida's most beautiful places to visit. "Old Florida". The Highwaymen Exhibit and tribute to Mr. Gibson was wonderful. It was a wonderful way to spend a day!

Great place to see Florida's natural landscape. We have taken our girl scout troop on hikes, canoe outings, dip netting experience, and even have done their Swamp Tromp. We always have a great time and enjoy taking pictures of the wildlife we see.
