Grateful Dog has always taken very good care of my border collie mix. She's getting a little old now, but I always feel comfortable leaving her in the good hands of the staff here. Most of the time, we leave her overnight, and there is always someone there taking care of all the pups. No cages means that your faithful companion will be comfortable, and even though he or she may not socialize well with other dogs, there's always a human to give them the comfort they need.

Great quality, great price full bathing service, plus add-ons like Furminator (amazing), gland expression, even teeth brushing. Super-friendly service every time (been going here for years), you can tell they love dogs. Our pug gets very & excited & happy when he goes, he loves it. Haven't tried the boarding or day care yet, but went through the interview process (really easy, about 15 min, bring your dog in, then they invite your dog for a complementary day of day care) so they can meet them & see your pet's temperament. We ended up not needing the service after all, but if we ever need it, I'll choose Grateful Dog. I feel safe leaving our pet there because they make sure that every dog has the kind of temperament that will get along with other dogs, and the staff really seem to enjoy dogs & their jobs. The owner is super-nice and Sacramento is fortunate to have this business around. Also they have a really cute Instagram.

My dog loves going here to get away from her brother. They learn all the dogs names and genuinely seem to care for your dogs.
