We went to the Sunday Breakfast Buffet at this location. It's the first we've heard of the event, but we were glad we did. Reasonably priced, there was a lot of options to choose from. You tell them you want the buffet, grab a plate and fill your plate full of great food! The best tasting items were the cheesy potatoes, breakfast steak that they cut fresh for you and the Tomato Bisque soup. Don't get me wrong. All other items tasted good, but the ones that stood out were those three. I would highly recommend trying this buffet if you get a chance. Other than the Sunday Buffet, the seating and service was great. Friendly and fast.

Can't possibly say enough good things about this place. Food is awesome, beer is great, and the service is indescribably good. Highly recommended.

Very good food. Lots of good drunk choices. I like the Pecks Pilsner beer. Food is typical Midwestern fare - top of the coronary hit list. Very tasty and huge portions. One of my favorite places to eat in Madison when I come to visit my son and his family. If I lived here I would be a regular and I would weigh 300+ pounds. Need a good cardiologist if you live here

Stopped in for lunch. My wife and I both enjoyed a bowl of brown ale onion soup. I had a nice salad with it and she had the chicken wrap which was ok. (Neither of us are big wrap fans) The stone scone scotch ale is great! Have a pint!

Love the beer selection, and the actually local-based menu. There are a variety of food items to choose from, and menu and servers both that know the beer. Even a Pilsner is not the same, Czech style vs German style. And they know it here. A little pricey to bring kids who won't eat much of what is ordered for them, but fine if you want to take home the rest. BTW, there are TV's with sports and such in the bar, and a couple others. But unlike many other brewpub-type places, you can be seated where there are no visible TV's. It's a pleasant change.
