My grandsons loved this place. There are many things that the kids can play on and with, a miniature grocery store, a mock-up fire truck, places to pretend to be doctors, veterinarians and many other things. The biggest attraction in the museum is a huge conglomeration of tiered nets for climbing, a big ship to play on, and under the ship is an area where the children can make music with a variety of percussion instruments. Kids of all ages were having a lot of fun with the variety of things to play on and with. Everyone was having a wonderful time. As of this writing, the facility consists of one large indoor area with the items listed above and many more. My grandsons spent a little more than than 2 and a half hours before thinking about leaving. The museum is best for ages 2 to 12, but a young to middle teenager could find many things to occupy themselves with. This is a smorgasbord of interactive exhibits cleverly disguised as play areas. Immediately attached is a capacious variety of gardens as a separate attraction of long-standing, known as Sunken Gardens, worthy of a separate visit and subsequent review.

So much fun! My 7, 5, and 1 year old love to come here in after school let's out. There's many stations with all kinds of different things to do. From shopping at "Publix" to building with giant foam blocks to climbing to practically the ceiling in the gym space. They have an amazing, gated zone for the preschool and under kids so you don't have to chase after them the whole time.

Love. Great place to get out of the Florida sun, get some kid-friendly socialization, and learn about our darling community. Great Ex is growing by leaps and bounds. When 2019 rolls in and the expansion and improvements are complete Great Ex will be a top destination for families and visiting families in our city. We love Great Ex. We have been members for years. We fully support Great Explorations and Sunken Gardens.

This place is great for kids and you cannot get in unless you have a child with you. This is a great safe policy! They have so many sections. There's a playground, play theater, grocery store, vet section, doctor section and so much more! They also have hula hoops and a section for the tiny ones. Oh and a sand pit. Lots of staff monitoring and they even had a staff led event while we were there. Just all around a great find!

My son had a blast here. It's a rather small building but has many things for your kids to be distracted with. If you have some free time and can afford it you can bundle this with the sunken gardens and really have a full day of activities with the family. Try to go early because it gets packed sometimes with many children. Staff is also pretty friendly.
