This museum is wonderful. The design and the view, plus the permanent exhibits, plus the special exhibits, make the Dali well worth the visit. The price is on a par with other museums of its kind, and cheaper metered parking is available slightly further away. The guides are enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and there are additional guided resources available. I have been impressed with the quality of the research involved. The bookstore is always very informative. An excellent experience!! Thank you!

You might want to purchase an exhibit book from gift shop before going upstairs. Unless you want to wear earphones that have been on a thousand ears. This will explain each painting. Very necessary if you want to understand anything about what your looking at. Otherwise just looks like a bunch of kids projects.

The Dali Museum is an extraordinary place to visit on many levels. It is very new, has state-of-the-art galleries, and a one-of-a-kind collection of original art. Persons who like Dali, admire his marketing skills, study his particular art genre or enjoy broad categories of art, will love this place. All of the amenities of a city museum, but beware, it is not cheap to go there and parking is expensive as well. Also, although there is a cafeteria, it is a costly venue as it is in such a wonderful place.

At first glance it seems small and you may wonder if it is a bit expensive but once you dive into Dali's world and you start exploring you'll know it is worth every single penny. In fact it's a steal. I spent over 3 hours admiring the unbelievable collection taking in as much detail as I could. If you're enjoy modern art this is a MUST. It's all in the details.

Interesting architecture, great works, and awesome gift shop. Didn't try the restaurant, but it looked crowded. The museum is overpriced in my opinion. Save the $10 parking fee and park on the street and walk over. There were too many people inside which took away from the experience in my opinion. I prefer the Tampa Art Museum over Dali.
