A great place, just to hang out! Lots of history and information regarding the Great Lakes and the many shipping companies, which traverse up, down and through them. There's a really nice little breakfast/lunch counter, where you can order the "Special of the Day" or a freshly made soup, sandwich, salad, pastry, as well as unique teas and coffees. The staff alert patrons to any inbound or outbound ships, adding to the announcement, a bit of information and history about the vessel.

I have visited many times and it's a great place to watch Freighters and learn about the history of the area! I want specific today to hear a lecture on watercraft safety, regulations, and interaction with freighter traffic. Great information! It's also a great place to have a bite to eat at the deli, relax, watch freighters, and talk to locals!

Great place to visit and watch the Freighters and other boats go by. Good snack bar, delicious food. It's also a great place to learn a little Maritime history.

This is a great place. So much to learn inside or get a meal. Staff are helpful and courteous. Fun and educational place to bring kids - the displays are interesting for all ages. Outside there is ample seating to take in the gorgeous view and watch the ships. It's always clean and well maintained. Just a really nice place to spend some time.
