Great Northern Food Hall features a selection of Nordic flavored and seasonal specialties, sourced from the New York region.
Great Northern Food Hall brings culinary flavors and ideas from the Nordic countries to Grand Central Terminal. Located in the Vanderbilt Hall, Great Northern Food Hall is a destination for foodies and busy New Yorkers alike, a place to grab a quick bite on the go or to share a meal and unwind in an informal setting of Scandinavian hospitality.
We offer Nordic-inspired food with seasonal menus that showcase the New York region’s best produce, share the simple idea that food matters beyond pleasure, and that cooking is a reflection of time and place.
We partner with farmers and food producers of the New York region, and cook with what nature makes available to us - in this very moment. We serve you food that means something to us; in a manner that we hope will also mean something to you. Deliciousness is a guiding principle of everything that we do.
Great Northern Food Hall consists of five food pavilions and a bar and features a unique range of specialty items: Danish open-faced sandwiches on whole grain rye; signature artisanal breads and pastries baked on site; house-roasted coffees, Nordic-inspired grain dishes; Danish style hot dogs; fresh salads, soups and bites; and at the bar, local craft beers, Nordic-style cocktails and an extensive American wine list.
We welcome you in seven days a week, morning until night.
