A different experience from the regular Chinese restaurants. The spices are very different. I had the Stewed Pork Hand-Ripped noodles and liked it. People should Definitely should give this food a try. Just a heads up, I found a lot of cloves in my dish which seems rather unlike the regular Chinese dishes. The place was small and decent. They also have some beers and other drinks on the menu.

Absolutely awesome food... Very authentic and prices reasonable. Plastic bowls and spoons/forks.... Perfect for what this place is... An upscale hole in the wall.

One of the bigger Xian locations. There’s two kitchens and level for seatings. The noodles are hand-pulled fresh and made on the spot. The noodle soups are perfect for the winter and cold noodles and salad for the summer. The dumplings are amazing and you can’t go wrong with the cumin buns. I’m a spicy kind of person but you can customize how much or no spice you want your dish to be. If you take the survey on the bottom of your receipt while you wait for your order, you get a free drink during your next visit.

The staff is incredibly friendly even during a rush. The prices are good $10-$15. The food is heavily seasoned - which I enjoy. Some dishes come hot spicy and others can be made more or less spicy, but you have to tell them. They will make everything medium if you don't specify.

You'll likely notice a giant line when you walk into this place, but don't worry too much because it moves really fast. And though the place looks really small at first glance, there's actually plenty of room to sit, and a whole upper level of seating.

I really recommend the lamb dumplings. I'm obsessed with them and get them every time I go. The filling is incredibly juicy, and though the wrapper is on the thick side, I think it goes well with the rest of the dumpling. I've also tried the cumin lamb burger (cumin taste was really strong!) - not my first pick but I enjoyed it. The hawthorne drink is on the sweet end of things, so I don't think I'd get it again.
