Story

Greenville Health System (GHS) is committed to medical excellence through patient care, research and education. My three year old son was transferred here from Baptist Easley for an object lodged in his nose. I'm so amazed at how good he was through the whole thing, didn't cry not one bit and after undergoing IV sedation the doctor was able to remove the object in less than a minute. I'm so thankful for the doctors, nurses, and the level of care he received during our brief stay. Great job Greenville Memorial!

My nephew is here because he was in a bad car accident last week. The doctors and nurses have been amazing to where he's improving everyday! The Children's hospital is far the best place to be at for any child out there who needs to be there! We are lucky to have a great hospital nearby. The only thing that would be nicer if they had a bed/chair that pulled out for two people to stay over night comfortably rather than just for one.

My son had a minor surgery and I was so impressed with the surgeon, Dr. Tommy Young. I've been working in the medical industry over twenty years and haven't met a surgeon with as much care and concern as he possesses. After his surgery my son developed a complication and the staff handled everything with skill and compassion. From Megan, the first nurse he saw in the prep area who handled his major aversion to needles like a champ to the awesome PACU staff, Michelle especially, everyone couldn't have been more wonderful! Highly recommend this hospital!!

I will never go back to this place again! The wait times are ridiculous. I took my son in for pink eye and we waited 2 hours and was never seen. I had to leave and go to another hospital that got him seen and out of there within 30 minutes! This place needs to do better especially when it’s about children.

My daughter went there for a severe headache. She couldn't hardly walk or talk. EMS brought her there and she was told that there was a 7 or more hour wait. This is unacceptable. She has stroke like symptoms. Unable to walk or speak. Somebody needs to check this place out. Get somebody that can run the ER. Somebody that knows what their doing. Or I will...  
This below is from my daughter.
 So after being taken by ambulance to GHS they sit me with general population because there were no beds...... I don't just have "bad migraines". I have debilitating, stroke-like, I can't talk or walk, followed by a full body seizure. I can't hardly open my eyes or communicate. After all this starts to subside then my head starts to feel like its splitting open.... Such pressure! AND THEY FILE ME AS A GENERAL MIGRAINE PATIENT! I tell them this has been happening for the past 3 days and they don't care! We waited 4 hours and was told it'd be 7 more! Never been more aggravated! I'm waiting for a referral to a neurologist. So I left, it's eased off enough I can talk and kinda walk. The pressure on my head is what won't go away.
This is SO SAD!
