Went in for my depression. I just couldn’t shake being sad and worried. I am coming forward to say I really was helped. I feel so much better about my life. I want to thank the staff for all their surport. Everyone needs a mind vacation to hit the reset button sometimes. I saw thing s smaller and easier to handle.

My young adult daughter needed to be at Pickens.  They were wonderful to her and to our family. Staff were caring and supportive.

This place was not good for me I went there to get help strangly enough I got worse was just kept giving medications based on what they thought they knew and oh my goodness it was terrible the horror I came in on one medication which was my seizure medication they took that away from me I end up having three seizures in one day after leaving the hospital almost lost my life due to how those seizures happened when your told you have epilepsy and a therapist tells you your not and takes you off your meds beware because some bad may happen yes I was having bad withdrawals from a medication when I went in there also know as vibryd I was very suicidal I think they thought I was a joke and piled a bunch of meds on me it was horrific to say the least if I ever need help again this will not be the place I go

If you love anyone do not place them here I was here at twelve years old two years ago and it was awful they dragged me by my hair to a isolated room and locked me in there they made me do things I did not want to do 15 adults would lay on top of me becaus they wanted to drag me to the isolated room but I did not let them but I had to or I would be seriously hurt they were not friendly and they don't care about the kids don't send anyone!!!you love!!
