If I could, I'd give it one fifth of one star. Greyhound spent money on marketing changes instead of making meaningful changes. Light hanging over my head, and loose connection plug in. I had to hold the plug to stay in. Partially my fault: but I didn't realize my bag needed a tag. Instead of driver putting it underneath until the next stop where I could get a tag, I had to ride with my not-so-young knees elevated and cramped for 3.4 hours~driver said it would be 2 hours. Also, the bathroom door was locked for an hour before driver Michael Otis announced he would pull over at a rest area. An elderly woman asked him several times what to do before he gave her a tool and told her to do whatever she needed to get in. A male passenger was finally able to get in. No radio call was made to the dispatch. The door was locked in total about an hour 20 minutes.

Sales counter open 24/7. Nearby restaurants are better than the grill at the station. About five blocks from the city bus station and basketball arena.

Most of the ride was nice. The drivers friendly. Then we came back to New York. My husband just lost his Mother. He forgot the tickets on the bus. The lady who was the customer service rep was mean. She spoke to us as children. Then wanted to charge us $39 for a trip to Newark NJ. I went to the information desk and NJ Transit got us from NY to Somerville NJ for $6. I have always had a great time at Greyhound bus company. Now I want to know what happened to the friendly people in NY.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. The people here were the rudest people I have ever come across. My boyfriend suffers from PTSD and has a service animal. We had been on the bus since Texas, our ticket stated that he had an animal, we had the papers and all and the security guard continued to tell us that he was not a service animal and threatens us with the police. We eventually won the battle. I believe the staff running this place should be evaluated. I am so angry. People pay way to much money to get treated so poorly!

They never know what’s going on. Customer service is hit but usually miss. It’s time to upgrade that technology, though. I still use it though because it’s cheap and the buses are comfortable!
