Great people and service at Griffin's!! Chris and crew are nice, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. Terrific having them downtown. Prices are very competitive and service is much better than big dealerships. My 12 year old Subaru is running great. They've saved me money when I thought the small problem was a bigger one.

Griffin's is an outstanding auto repair shop in Little Italy that I used when I lived downtown.

I brought my Audi TT to Griffin's for an alternator replacement, and I brought my Toyota Avalon in for brake work. In both cases, I dealt with Chris, who is excellent at clearly communicating the status and costs of the repair and following-up.

Also, in both cases, Griffin's delivered the work on-time and at or BELOW their initial estimate. That almost never happens anywhere else. With the Audi, Griffin's price was 55% of what the dealer quoted me for an alternator swap, and with the Avalon, it was 60% of what the Toyota dealer wanted to charge for brake work.

In a short time, Griffin's earned my trust, and I am confident they will earn yours as well.

I brought my junker volkswagen in with a false diagnostic from another shop, Thankfully the technician convinced me to get it looked at again by them before I spent a thousand dollars on something that wasn't the issue. They ended up saving me a lot of money. The staff was friendly and professional and the shop was very clean. For the time that I am in San Diego this will be my go to shop.

The service staff is polite and friendly as well as.knowledgeable about their work. The prices however, are extortion. Being inner city and pricey I do not recommend it unless you have money you just want to throw away.
