For those who love Filipino food on the run, try Grill City. They're all located inside Seafood city Grocery Stores. We tried their food on many occasions. The Pork BBQ Classic Plate is a great meal. The pork is tender juicy and full of flavor. Grilled Pompino is another favorite! Why go through the hassle of cleaning fish and grilling it? Get it here!!!!!! The Kare Kare is great with a rich peanut sauce. I'm a fan of bittermelon. It's bitter but absolutely healthy for you. They scamble it up with egg. The Pancit is Masarap!! it's a noodle dish with pork. Pretty much all their food is good.
This place is located inside Seafood City. We tried their chicken bbq stick and it tasted really good. Their Kare Kare, however, didn't taste like Kare Kare at all. I haven't tried their other dishes yet. We paid $8.99 for the 2 item combo. A little on the higher end for what you get one bbq stick and a small cup of entree with 2 large scoops of rice
Server was too occupied talking with fellow staff by the cashier that they ignored the line of customers waiting. After waiting for like 10 minutes, I called their attention. No apologies offered whatsoever. Some customers had left the line as they got frustrated. Request their manager address this incompetence and lack of courtesy.
Obtained the poorest of service at Grill City. Waited in line and got skipped 2 times, for two customers speaking fillipino. I asked for an item, which was told was out, then got skipped again!! It was the first time trying to get food there. Felt bad that my daughter was there with me and she felt discriminated.
Located inside the Seafood City!, Lotsa Pinoy Food to choose from!
FOOD DELIVERY DRIVERS BEWARE: The workers here WILL ignore you in favor of the customers who are ordering in-store and do not care that you are picking up food for a customer that ALREADY paid for their order. The lady who was working there when I attempted to pick up an order completely ignored me while looking at me STRAIGHT in the eyes. Just save your time and gas by avoiding at ALL COSTS!
This place was an utter disappointment. Palabok - fishy and dry. I've never had fish in palabok before. Shrimp, yes. Pieces of yesterday's fish...never. Lumpia - bland and tough. I almost lost a filling trying to chew. Chicken BBQ - the taste was decent, but cold. Can we talk about how friendly the staff was? They weren't. A smile and a thank you comes a long way people. One more thing...overpriced! Stay away from this place. Oh...we got sick two hours after eating. They’ve hit every awful point on how NOT to be a restaurant.
Lady had on so many masks nobody understood what she was saying? Then she adjusted her mask with no hope with her bare hands. Then started filling the container with food while her thumb was all in the food. No thanks! I wonder how many people she got infected with covid! Stay away!!!
A convenient & great place to eat and snack! Awesome choices from many favorite grilled, BBQd, stewed, fried, boiled, etc, meats, veggies, fruits! We had a BIG lunch with grilled giant squid, mongo stew, dilis fried, crunchy smelts, bitter melon stew, BBQ chicken, and rice The squid was a bit overdone, blacked spots & tentacles. Our dessert was an old time fave, ginatang mongo sweetened mongo beans cooked in coconut milk. We brought some of the dessert back to Lolo & Lolo’s house since we haven’t had this dessert since we were in the Philippines! If you’re hungry, your eyes & nose will get full before you even start eating. A must place to eat, take out, and pick-up for family parties. Plenty of parking, except on weekends, outside and it’s inside Seafood City. The location also has Jollibee, Valerio’s & Red Ribbon bakeries, Chow King and a laundrymat. Across the street is another Filipino Plaza with Goldilock’s, Manila Lechon, Joy Bakery, Tambuli, etc... Great place to be and to eat endlessly!
Old meat served here its dry ,bbq pork on sticks looks.and smells really old , dont buy here I complain already but no response ,chicken is also bad .not as good as the on in Tarzana now called North Hills .looks like.this sfc serves expired meat amd.cook them to sell.
