The staff is friendly. The prices are great. You can find things you may not find in traditional grocery stores.

Interesting place. Not as fancy as most grocery stores, but some of the prices will surprise you! You'll find a mixture of very well-known brands alongside bargain brands of which you've never heard. Vegetables and produce are surprisingly good. I'd advise that you shop carefully, as things like product expiration dates can often be nearing, though they're not as critical as you might think. Also, because of the way they acquire items to sell (closeouts, etc.), you may find that something you want will be offered only once or be unavailable for several weeks at time if it sells out and they're waiting for restocking. If you like an item and the price, buy a lot of it because you might not see it again for a while. Compared to some super-sized supermarkets, the number of items offered is much more limited, but my wife and I still go to Grocery Outlet weekly because the pricing is so low that it's well worth a regular visit for things we like or need on a regular basis.
