I always go to this shop for baby gifts because where else can you get tye dyed baby onesies? After all, I have lived in New Paltz for a very long time and like to give gifts that are unique to the area,  but also useful ! The lady that is working in the shop is so sweet and helpful.

This store offers many different relaxed, hippie-style tie-dyed and woven clothes, rugs, incense, and bandanas. The girls who worked there were very sweet and very helpful. The prices for the clothing items I got were reasonable considering they were hand dyed items. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere, and would like to stop back in the next time I'm in town. :)

I will never buy anything from this overpriced place again. Terrible unprofessional "phantom owner" who doesn't trust his employees enough to give them a direct way to be reached or respect his customers enough to return their calls or emails.
I lived in New Paltz for 6 years during and after college. I purchased a beautiful dress recently, the only item i have ever purchased from GB. After taking it home, I wore it and turned hot pink due to all of the residual dye. The problem happened when I HAND WASHED the dress. Many of the seems split and frayed. Since I live about an hour away, I had called the store to see what I could do about getting a replacement/return but no one answered so I left a message with my name and phone number. I never received a call back. I took the time to drive an hour back up to New Paltz to speak with someone in person. When I arrived, I was told by the lady who was working that I needed to get in touch with the owner because she couldn't help me. When I asked if we could call the "owner" together, she proceeded to tell me that she has no way of getting into contact with the "owner". I was given a card with an email address on it. I emailed the "owner" twice... that was 2 days ago. My original call was 6 days ago. According to a few people in town, the owner's last name is Cohen and he is a complete waste. So far... proving to be very true.
