We have stayed here many times. We LOVE it. It's low key, old Florida. Not super fancy, but we like it that way! The rooms are quite nice without being super fancy. Beds are comfortable and there are dishes, glasses, refig, stove, a/c in all the rooms. Always friendly people staying there, always a cocktail gathering at sunset. the sunsets are awesome. Incredible! It took my breath away! Norman the manager is awesome and so is Alan, the owner! They treated me like family! Beautiful apartments, CLEAN and well taken care of! I've been coming to Casey Key for 551/2 years and this place is hands down the VERY BEST!

My husband and I love this wonderful, comfortable, clean and friendly place right on the Gulf. We have been staying here for over 10 years and can't wait to get back every year! Thank you Allen, for providing this special place at a reasonable price for all people to enjoy! Val and Tom Golden

Friendly atmosphere. On site manager was always helpful and available. The rooms were a decent size and kept clean. Went for the weekend with two other families and we all had a great time relaxing and enjoying the beach, BBQ area. Nice home away from home feeling. Will definitely go back!

RUN!! We decide to take a little trip to the beach this weekend, the ONE day we get away and have a day off. We called and spoke to Alan to check if there was vacancy, he said he had one room available. This was approx 11am in Saturday, and they still had availability. We made it to the location at about 3:30 when we were welcomed by Norman (believe that was his name) who was a kind fellow. We checked in to our unit, paid upon arrival and less than 30mins later we received a chaotic call that our family member was in ICU...we had to pick up and drive back home to make it to the hospital. I couldn't find Norman with the quick look I did so we frantically jumped in the car and I immediately called and spoke to Alan who I respectfully asked for a refund due to the situation. He said he would call Norman and see what they can do...with the situation I wasn't able to call back Saturday nor did I ever get a call back from the staff. I called on Sunday when I had the next opportunity and left a voice mail. Monday is still did not hear back so I called again, spoke to Alan once again who I have confirmed to have no heart or sympathy towards others. He apologized for my loss and stated he does not do refunds. These owners basically robbed us of $200 for the 30mins we were there, I would understand keeping a portion of the money but all of it? Considering that we didn't reserve the room prior to...we called in only an hour or two upon arrival. This is completely unfair treatment on behalf of the management at Gulf Sands. I am not sure how they lay their heads on their pillows each night!
