Was nice but spaces are close I mean real close! Our satilite and cell phone didn't work. They have a wasp problem which sucked so don't plan on any outside time. They provide t.v. which is 12 nasty channels and WIFI only 300 mega pits. It was a beautiful setting -again it is camping!!!!!!!!

This is a lovely and peaceful RV Park just across from the Reservoir! Not to mention outstanding shoreline fishing....huge trout! Liked the fact you have a recycled shed that is so organized. We so enjoyed our stay here and can't wait for next year.

We stay at Lakeside every year. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It is quiet and located directly across from Blue Mesa so you can sit outside and have a beautiful view of the lake. This year my husband went down to the office to buy a bag of office, the owner had just closed up and was walking home; he went back and got a bag of ice for my husband. They are very friendly people.

This is by far one of the best camp sites we have stayed at. We would highly recommend this site to all of our friends and family. The staff speak a thousand words for this site which is just absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and we'll definitely be back to this site.

RV spaces are tight. Our little pop up camper took the whole length available - about 45 feet. Most of the rigs were large trailers or motorhomes with full hookup capability. We have no restrooms so we relied on the campground facilities. When we booked the site we were told they have showers. They have 2. One for the men and one for the women. They are in a single room with the toilet and sink and they cost $2 for a 10 minute shower. We paid $47 a night for our site and the showers are extra??? If someone needs to use the shower or bathroom or vice versa, they have to wait until the person in there is done. Of course the folks with the full hookups also use them. There are not enough bathrooms or showers. We stayed at a KOA in Grand Junction the night before and they had 3 showers, 3 bathroom stalls, a urinal in the men's and four sinks. And it was $5 a night cheaper. After dark people who were not staying there would pull in off the highway and use the showers. One of them took their dog in with them. The other campers themselves were very quiet, but highway 50 is close and pretty noisy. The staff was courteous and the people we met were friendly. Cell service is poor and the wifi is o.k., but not great. Beautiful cool nights for our stay, but campfires are not allowed. The sites do not have outdoor grills for cooking, so we had to go to a group tent where there were grills available. This is somewhat inconvenient. If you spend the day at the nice lake this might be for you, but if you like outdoor campfires and a quiet mountain setting you should probably look elsewhere.
