I wanted to propose to my (then) girlfriend with a custom made, one-of-a-kind, engagement ring. After shopping around a few of the highly recommended jewelers in the area, I came upon GVS Jewelers. I appreciated the personal attention, interest and time that Vladimir and his wife spent with we, and that they were genuinely interested to work on my design, making suggestions on how to both make it unique and beautiful. I am really happy with the finished ring, my fiancé loves it and shows it off any chance she gets. If you're thinking of proposing to your other half, I would definitely recommend a personal/custom made ring, and go with a reputable local jeweler, with an eye for detail, design and customer service, like GVS Jewelers.

I got my engagement ring from them last week. They are so helpful and kind. They even got me a better deal than we agreed before. I would buy from them again. They are the best!

I had an antique ring cleaned and restored and a stone reset in another ring. Both rings look beautiful. Thoroughly knowledgable with excellent craftsmanship - highly recommend.

My wife went here to get all three of our rings resized, and the owner was very helpful in determining the correct resizing for her.  The quoted price of $330 for all three was a little high but not unreasonable (slight reduction of a 4.5mm band, slight increase on a 1.7mm band and 1.7mm band+pave halo).  We decided to go with them for their expected fast and local service despite the cost.

However, they never contacted us to pick up our rings - they said they would email, phone, or text when the order was done.  After a week, we called them and they said the order had been ready for a while.

Then, when my wife picked up our rings GVS suddenly claimed that the cost was $150 more than previously agreed ($480 total), even though the three items and $330 were clearly marked on the initial receipt!  After agreeing to half of this increase in order to reclaim our rings without too much hassle, they then charged $450 to our card!  My wife pointed out the discrepency, and they started writing a check for $45, but then changed this to $40.31 for some reason.

I would never recommend anyone go here for service - extremely unprofessional when the time for payment arrives, and they might arbitrarily decide to charge more for agreed-upon service and perform the work without confirmation of the increased cost.

I got my engagement ring here, the owners are nice and the price was reasonable. I love the ring, he put my mom's diamond in a new setting with rubies.
