Story

Meese Jewelry Company is a small family owned business. Eleven years ago, the Moose family saw a need for high quality watch repair at a reasonable price, and Mejeco was born. Mejeco started as an online watch repair business that grew into a retail repair business. In 2010, Complete Watch Repair opened in downtown Belmont. The Moose family decided to expand into retail jewelry, watch and jewelry repair in 2011. In November of 2011, Meese Jewelry Company opened beside 3 Hip Chicks. In October 2013, they moved to downtown Belmont, next to City Hall.

Meese Jewelry Company is owned by Brad and Christina Moose. They saw a need and felt that they had the expertise to fill it. They can design a piece of jewelry that is custom to you, repair your cherished piece, or even help you redesign those pieces that have been sitting around unworn in your jewelry box.

Christina Moose has been in the jewelry industry for over 16 years. She started as a sales associate with a mall jewelry store, and worked her way up to management. In 2007, she left to work for BEYA jewelry. There she managed their locations through the closeout sales. In June 2008, BEYA closed and she began doing private consultations in the jewelry industry. She is from Concord, NC and graduated from Belmont Abbey College in 2002 with a BA in psychology. In 2005, she completed her MBA from Strayer University. She also has diamond essentials, gemstone essentials, and jewelry basics from GIA, and is certified diamontologist and gemologist from Diamond Council of America.

Brad Moose has 11 years of experience in watchmaking. His interest came from Christina's love of jewelry. He has experience working on most brands of watches. He is from outside of Mooresville, NC and graduated from Lenior Rhyne University in 2001 with a BA in Economics. He has experience in retail management.

Both, Brad and Christina, love playing with their son, Gavin (born in February 2011) and Jack (born in June 2015). They love local sports, like Panthers Football, and enjoy spending time with family and friends. They love travelling, especially to local beaches and the mountains.
