I wanted to buy a costume and they told me once I got to the register they only rented them. Costume I wanted was good for what i needed it for. Two of the ladies told me the owner might sell it. It was in bad condition and the bottom part ripped off, i planned to put a skirt over it. No prices on anything. Nobody could tell me a price until after putting my whole outfit together and wasting an hour of my time. The Store owner?? told me I could rent it for $65 a day. I was pretty stunned. I feel they give different prices for every person. There was a man in front of me whose costume was nicer and his rental was less than half the price. I feel the store owner ??? was trying to make me feel bad and get off on letting me down. Seems like she discriminates against people and gets off on it. People working in the store suggested I go to good will instead. Whoever decided this business model has some kind of superiority complex with control freak behavior. I found some of their costumes they rent on etsy to buy for less than the 1 day rental price.

There is no other store/costume shop like this in San Diego!! The best around. Their inventory and costumes are amazing. Staff is very talented and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!

Been going here forever. Great selection and they are quite reasonable, very good service. Besides costumes they have good gag gifts too.
