I am so happy I got asked by google to write a review because I had totally forgotten to. We lived by the haha Pizza in Xenia for 2 years and never had it always talked about it but didn't go there. So finally we decided to go while we were in Yellow Springs. I have never been to a place where the staff is so socially awkward. The service was not good AND it took forever to get pizza PLUS they had no garlic sauce. The walls the ground the bathroom and the kitchen looks as if it has NEVER had a detailed cleaning. On top of all of this, the Pizza was not tasty. I liked the texture of the thin crust but the sauce was nothing special. We will not be returning.

Whole wheat crust is tasty. I'm glad they have the fun trivia games for adults and kids. Overall the pizza was kinda bland, wish they had more spices on the pizza like oregano and basil. They also charged for ranch. Overall a causal fair priced place but it could be cheaper and better flavored.

Very good pizza, although a little overpriced. I enjoy the while wheat crust and their pizza sauce. Staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean. Overall a nice atmosphere. The wait for food can be long but they do make every order from scratch.

TL;DR While it's a nice iconic place to eat at on a weekday, the weekends prove to be a challenge for both the employee and for the customer who just want their Pizza with a side of good vibes. It just doesn't have the capacity. It kind of has always been a tradition to eat here and rightfully so. It's iconic to this area and always has good food. It isn't phenomenal but there's just something that I love about their pizza. Why just three stars? The place suffers from the small town environment and atmosphere that Yellow Springs is known for. What I mean by that is, it is too small and too humble for it's popularity. You could say that for just about any store or restaurant in Yellow Springs, but this place specifically doesn't have the capacity to feed the amount of hungry customers it has. If you go during the week you're going to have your pizza in good time, but if you decide that you and the family want to go on the weekend... set aside a couple hours. Wait times can be 15 to 30 minutes just to be seated and wait times for food can be 30 minutes to an hour. By the time you've waited this long, you pretty much no longer feel happy about coming to Ha Ha Pizza and bitter that it took so long to get your food. Part of a restaurant is the experience and this one always proves to be challenging. I respect Ha Ha for being so humble but for pizzas sake find a way to accommodate your customers.

Pros: Pizza is pretty good and has many options for toppings. Sadly the pizza is kinda oily so if you have a weak stomach this pizza night not be the best for you. Cons: Very long wait. Canned pop only not fountain. No kids cups whatsoever (which when you have a child with you can be a pain in the you know what). Bread sticks are kinda bland. In conclusion, this place isn't bad. It's just not as good as I expected. Many of the issues I had with this place are easy fixes that (if done) would raise the quality of the food tremendously.
