I can come into this relaxing, quiet atmosphere and be absorbed for hours! The wide selection of offerings are that good. The staff are so helpful whenever you have a general idea of what you are looking for, but nothing specific in mind. Need a gift for someone?  These folks always can offer several suggestions. My only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that while they will buy most books from you, they give you only a *very small* fraction of the price they will turn around and sell it for, so you're probably better off donating used books to Goodwill, who will give you a receipt for tax purposes and still sell them at better prices. I love buying new books here, though. The customer service here is definitely praiseworthy!

I went to explore. Just found my new place to buy blank journals. A lot of fun exploring the selection of books. I am definitely going to explore more Half Price Books in the future. 

They have video games, DVDs, and records if you look for that kind of stuff.

Friendly and helpful staff, vast variety of books and media. The used records and comics are great for finding that hidden gem!
