Nice book shop. Lots of variety in books, music and related merchandise. Prices for buying used goods are too low, I realize they need to make money but the amount offered seems way too low.

What happened!  I used to love half price books... I was there at least once a week.  I haven't been able to go in a while due to travel.  So it is with great sadness that when I walked in... the selection was much closer to standard.  And the prices were NOT half.  I am sure over the years they have had to give raises and deal with extra expenses to keep the lights on... but many of the used, OK quality hardbacks were close to their original cover price.  So I'm guessing there was a change and now it is half of what you could get a brand new print in hardback for... Either way... had 136 books on my list.  Less than half were available and those were over priced.  Sorry but I'll get them somewhere else.  Thanx tho!

For selling books this place is a joke! I took 7 boxes in there and they offered 7 dollars. Not even worth my gas to drive up there. Especially when I went through the books myself and there were quite a few that were worth100.00 themselves. I would NOT recommend selling your books to them unless you want to get nothing for them.
