I think that this is probably the second best place to eat in Arkadelphia . # 1 being Cracker Barrel. The local police eat here so the assumption was that it was the place to be. I must rethink my selection process. The only applesauce available for the kids meals that come with applesauce is strawberry applesauce. That would have been something nice to include on the menu. Burgers were good and it was nice to have a side different from fries. The trained cockroach show on the wall came at no additional charge. Three very talented specimens with great physical abilities. I can eat through anything but the 3 adult women in our party found it hard to continue. The 4 children however found it hilarious! I also thought it was odd that they kept a dying hanging basket of petunias on the service counter next to the tea and drink dispensers but that could be a local custom. We had a party of 10 so I expected the 15% gratuity listed on the menus to be added and since there was only one waitress I didn't expect the warned up charge to 20% if two waitresses were required. I normally boot up to 20% anyway when I don't have to serve my family myself or when the gratuity is not self billed. In this case the gratuity was 18%. Maybe the other 3% was to cover the entertainment. Actually a $45.00 gratuity for 45 minutes while serving two other large tables is pretty good in this town I'm sure.

This would have gotten five stars, but the waitress was terrible and had no clue how to do her job. The food was excellent.
