We had to evacuate for Irma, they were making exceptions with pets, they waived our cancellation fee when we had to cut the stay short, and went out of our way to make us as comfortable as possible. The sweet blonde lady that works at the desk was so helpful and nice. Definitely nice to see such a positive person after that trip.. as far as the hotel itself, it's located on W Broad which connects to seemingly everything, so you are just around the corner to everything you need. Rooms are clean and tidy, no noise, friendly crew! If you like your room dark, it gets DARK.

Great place to stay. Very clean rooms with nice amenities. Courteous staff, easy location to enter exit. Moderate priced for a double bed room on third floor. Continental breakfast included.

It's one thing when issues happen. It's another when the hotel staff just sort of shrugs about it, promises some sort of discount, then barely delivers. We stayed in this Best Western for three nights. For two of those nights, we had no hot water, and a staff who just didn't seem to care. First, it was written off as a problem with our shower (though we explained that the sink wasn't delivering hot water, either). When the attendant noticed this for himself (even though we had already told him), he just shrugged and said the maintenance crew was gone for the day. It turns out that several other travelers checked in late and reported the same, at which point it was taken seriously. But when the same problem happened again the next night, the attendant simply stopped answering the front desk phone. (I walked around to the front desk to see if he was there. He was. He simply ignored the phone). We were promised some discount on our stay to make up for the cold showers we had to take two days in a row. In the end, they only comped us our pet fee, which was trivial to begin with.

Very clean hotel. Nice staff. Lots of good restaurants walking distance away.

We were here for a square dance convention, but stayed a few extra days waiting for Hurricane Irma to blow by. The hotel was fully booked with other fellow Floridians escaping the storm, and I am sure the staff was stressed worrying about their own homes and families. With all that going on, everyone remained friendly and professional, and always had a kind word and a smile. We stay at Hamptons whenever we can, and this hotel is a shining example of why.
