The whole atmosphere was quite welcoming and leaned towards a contemporary style. The size of the room was very nice and never felt cramped, even though there was a couple of queen beds with a decently proportioned sleeper couch and a huge bathroom. The fixtures were mostly descent and the location was right in the middle of Athens. My only gripe was with a few of the bathroom fixtures. The drain for the bath shower was a little slow and the actual shower had some stains. The door also was missing a handle and was rather tricky to lock & unlock. However, those tiny glass were overshadowed by the rest of the room, and by it's location in the city. All in all, this Hyatt Place is an easy recommendation.

Wonderful! My son and I were in town, because of a death in the family, and my brother in law called and spoke with the front desk, explained that my son has a disability, and needed a wheelchair accessible room. We arrived at the hotel, and the young ladies at the front desk were so kind. Our room was beautiful, with an awesome separate bathroom that was very accessible for his chair. The room was large with plenty of room, and, we had a lovely view of downtown. I certainly will stay there again, when I go back to visit my family.

This hotel has only been open 3 months. The room was very clean and staff were very inviting. The continental breakfast was better than restaurant-prepared food. The only minor complaint is our room was located in a far corner and it took a little while for the shower to warm up, but patience solved the problem. Thank you for great service and clean rooms!

We were in town for the FTC Super Regional's. The staff was EXCELLENT!!! The facility was spotless and the decor is beautiful. We stayed multiple days and the staff was always kind, courteous and helpful. The continental breakfast was amazing... better than most restaurants. Great selection for breakfast (cereal, fresh fruit, assorted breads, a hot menu that changes daily) always clean and the staff was very attentive. Our experience was great and next time we are traveling in this area we will stay here again. Plenty of covered parking, very reasonable charges. We were spending most of our time at the convention center which was a joined to the hotel and a very short walk. The staff made recommendations of the local restaurants and gave us great options. Walking distance from downtown plenty of shopping, restaurants and night life.

Hyatt place in Athens Georgia it’s a very pretty place. Staff is very professional breakfast is free there is a fee for parking the amenities of the hotel or The comfort the rooms are very spacious large bathroom shower some have bathtubs there is a gym in the breezeway on the second floor that needs to the classic Center next door so you don’t have to go outside to enter The lobby in the hotel is very spacious lots of seating cozy places to sit I have enjoyed my stay here in the room there is a refrigerator large armoire for hanging up clothes hairdryer ironing board iron no safe The rooms could be considered as a mini suite because there is a large sofa and ottoman The Hyatt place is Five star easy
