The front desk at this place is terrible. We booked a suite for 3 adults and 2 kids. On the website, they indicated the extra bed would be a roll away. No problem. 10 days before our stay, I called to confirm that we were good for 5 in the room and confirmed the roll away. When we showed up, we were promptly checked in and all was well. A few minutes later, the manager came out and said they no longer had rollaway beds. That stinks but I asked front desk what could be done. I was offered 2 double queen rooms for more than twice our original rate. I asked to have the rate changed to match what we were expecting but he couldn't do since he's not a manager. He called the manager on duty but she said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak with the manager on duty, he tried but she wouldn't answer. So Janice, the manager on duty was not really on duty. My choice was to pay double or find another room. I told Eric, at the front desk that we would call Hilton to get this straightened out and wet outside to handle it. A few minutes later, Eric came outside to inform us that our reservation had been canceled and we'd need to find other accommodations. So we did. At the Wyndham across the street. They were very accommodating and gave us a rate that was far less than the Hampton. Even less than our original rate!!! Eric and Janice at Hampton have no place being in a hospitality business. In the end, we're glad to be in a great room at the hotel next door with a great front desk staff. The cheaper and nicer rooms are a plus too.

This is a fantastic hotel! The staff at check-in was mediocre, but everything else was great. The location is perfect for visiting Mesa Verde. The room itself was super clean and huge. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room itself was quiet. I really have nothing bad to say about this place. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

They have very nice rooms...but are horrible at wedding blocks! I do not believe that they often have wedding blocks because they managed it terribly. The Sales Manager/GM was very hard to get a hold of and the Front Desk staff seemed to not be trained in wedding blocks. I called various times to get it set up, change the number of rooms needed, check on how many were left, and attempt to cancel them by the date I was told too. Each time I called, there was difficulty finding my block, making the changes or answering the questions I needed, and I had to call 3 times before the unused rooms were actually canceled. Otherwise I would have been charged for these rooms….not the stress a Bride needs. I was working with a secondary hotel for our wedding guests and working with the two was night and day in communicating.

It's a nice but totally typical Hampton. Rooms seem clean breakfast is free but not really all that noteworthy. Nice location

This is a modern Hampton inn. Clean comfortable rooms that are well laid for the size of the room. Friendly employees.
