My family and I stayed one night at this Hampton on a Saturday night. The location was very convenient and the free breakfast was a draw for us. Check in went very smoothly and the room (king suite) was pretty spacious. Everything seemed fine but then after we had unpacked and we're headed out for the afternoon we realized our room door had a problem closing correctly and we had to slam it several times so that it wouldn't just push open on it's own. We didn't have time to address this with staff at the time though. The floors of our room also had this sticky feel to it. No idea what that was but it wasn't pleasant. Also when we went to make up the sleeper sofa the bedding for it wasn't in the room. We called the front desk and they asked if we had checked everywhere and said we would have to come retrieve it ourselves since they were the only person there that night. I definitely expect better from this class of hotel. I slept well enough and everything else was fine till breakfast. They had a only one waffle maker for the very busy hotel so even though I would have liked one I did not have time to wait behind five people in line. They had cheese eggs which were pretty decent but any other hot breakfast item was stale and hard or just gross. Very dissatisfied with the breakfast. I ended up having a bowl of cereal. The hotel itself was pleasant enough and clean enough. I hope in the future they would try to make sure bedding is more available and the to breakfast is fresh. I like to think of Hampton inn of Hilton as a nice comfortable yet affordable place to stay and would love to see these issues addressed before our next visit.

I will speak only the positive side in this rating: The location of the Inn was awesome, not to far from everything! The king size bed was very comfy, the room was very large, the staff was friendly!

Nice rooms with nice accommodations. Complimentary bottled water and happy hour draft beer. Breakfast has a lot to choose from but cooked food is blah. Definitely sub par the morning I was there.

Good clean hotel great pools. Close to blue bayou water park. But they have feather pillows so make sure you bring your own pillows if they used cotton pillows it would be 5 stars

Friendly staff and great customer service. Nestor makes sure you have everything you need!!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
