Hancock inspected my chimney on October 17, 2016.  At that time the technician and I discussed having a gas insert installed (I'm disabled and burning wood is not an option for me).  It would have been an expensive endeavor since the chimney is very old and much upgrading would be necessary.  The technician was to send me a quote (via email) in a few days and I would make my decision on what details I wanted in the finished fireplace insert.  I heard nothing, saw nothing come through my email.  After a couple of weeks, I called Hancock to find out why I hadn't seen an email or received a phone call.  The woman who answered said she would look into it and check with the technician.  Today is November 12... and to date I have not heard a word from anyone from that company.  VERY disappointed in the professionalism (or lack thereof).  I've since contacted another company and will have an insert installed next week.... Will not deal with Hancock ever again.

Hancock has been servicing our chimneys (2 different homes) for the past 25 years.  They have always been prompt, courteous, thorough, and reliable. Not only are their prices competitive, they often offer great coupon discounts!  If you really want your chimney in great shape, these are the people to call!

I hired Hancock to give me a 2nd opinion on a home we were buying. Best decision ever. I watched them take their camera up the chimney and give it a thorough assessment. They were helpful and well informed. And unfortunately for us, they found thousands of $ of repair we had to pair for. I thought their price for the estimate was extremely reasonable. But was in sticker shock on the cost to repair the brick. In the end, we didn't end up using them to repair the brick, but we didn't have a choice on that as the sellers of the house didn't like the price Hancock gave to repair the brick and they found a different company at a lower price, we didn't have a voice in who those choose.

We were very happy with the work done on our chimney and fireplace. The two men were professional and friendly. They were very neat and efficient. When the work was done they cleaned up the fireplace extremely well.  

The other day I had our first fire in the fireplace and it worked beautifully. Thank you for the excellent work!
