I rate Handyman Connection 5 stars! From setting my appointment to the installation process was great service. Joshua was very professional and he did a great job! Will use this company again in the future.

Don't hire them! I called Handyman Connection to see if they could provide a painter for the following day because my regular guy couldn't break away from another job. All I needed was someone to fill nail holes and spot paint over them because we were selling our house and moving the following day. Also paint a 3x5 area of a ceiling where sheet rock had been repaired. The lady assured me the handyman would have tools and supplies (he didn't, he had to go to Home Depot) and of course, I had all the paint colors needed for each room. After showing the guy each room, he went out to his brand new Hummer (big clue) to write the quote. I was wrapping and packing boxes and dealing with other jobs necessary to get moved out. He came back in with a quote of $1,193. I looked at him knowing he was ripping me off, he knew I was desperate for help, and signed in duress because I didn't have the time to do the job myself. I guess he had to justify what he was charging, so he took 7 hours to do a job that shouldn't have taken more than 2. I had placed the correct paint cans in most of the rooms because some of the rooms had the same color and showed him they were the same color. But he moved all the cans to a countertop and picked colors to "try" in each room! I didn't realize he was doing this because I thought the job was simple enough a 10-year old could figure it out, so I wasn't supervising. There were a total of 12 rooms he was working in, and when I finally had a chance to go around to check his work, he had continuously painted with the wrong colors, even though I had originally placed the correct cans in the rooms!! I was angry and asked him how could you not realize you are putting green paint on a white wall?!!! So I would go again and locate the correct color. He kept acting like he was clueless, but I know he was not that dumb. He was trying to justify the time spent matching the ridiculous amount he was charging me. 
He also left a wet paper towel with paint laying in the stainless steel sink which I discovered and told him about, and he stood there and told me he didn't do that!! Then I discovered paint all over the bannister and floor and he said he didn't know how it got there! 
When the owner returned my call the next day, I explained all this to him, yet he could not have cared less. Folks I took photos that I would gladly upload if this site had that ability. Green paint on white wall, blue paint on green wall, paint spills,,,,after talking with owner for 10 minutes about all of this, he said he could only credit 10%. Don't use them, bad contractors and terrible customer service!!!

Really REALLY BAD COMPANY. Total rip off and wasted my time.

Here is what happen. I purchased a Living Social coupon and I called on the last day. I purchased a 2 hr of work coupon and they said since it is the last day of the coupon they can only give me the value of the coupon instead of the 2 hr of work. They said it's worth $150. That sound great until they came out.

They quoted me $420 to change two bathroom facets and $290 to change the cartridge out of my old facets. Those prices less my coupon value of $150.

Hey everyone has their own prices, even though they charge more than what lawyers charge by the hr. I could have done both of those jobs on my own. I called them just to use a coupon that I paid for and it was about to expire. 

I was like fine. $290 to change 2 facet cartridge, then my $150 coupon can cover you to change one facet, since $290/2 = $145.

NO that was not the case. They came back it was $230 to change one cartridge.

Hey if you don't want to honor the coupon that I PAID for, then don't. I will just call Living Social to get my money back, which living social did create my account after I explain the situation to them.

Totally scandalous. Call another company. I don't believe any company charge $210 to change one facet. That is a half hr or less job. I can change it in less than half hr.

Call this company if you want to pay more than what a lawyer charges.

This is a great company! They do great work.  They have never asked for money up front or changed my price after the fact.  I will use them again!
