We are a family owned business delivering honest and professional automotive repair and auto maintenance services to the people of Hanover & surrounding areas.

Story

Dean started Hanover Lube and Brake over 25 years ago by renting two bays behind the old Hanover Auto Parts Store, soon they rented a third bay and just four years later opened their existing location on Baltimore Street. This 7- bay auto repair facility now employs five technicians and three service writers.

Great people work here! Instead of telling me I needed a ton of stuff done before my car could pass inspection, they passed it and warned me that my brakes JUST passed, so I should get them taken care of ASAP. I asked for a quote and they were happy to provide one quickly. I waited for my car and it didn't take as long as I thought it would. The owner also owns Dean's Auto Plaza, so since I purchased my vehicle there, I get free inspections for as long as I have it. Great people at both places!

Great people, great service, great price, treat you like family, and they appreciate your business ...that's why I go there. Can't think  of anything else.

My family have used them for years now. Friendly staff, fair rates (mostly mine were covered through warranty) great service and quick. Highly recommend in this area.

I had issues with them on my first visit. But all has been fixed and I had both the manager and owner apologize and resolve the situation. I like what they've done and how they fixed the first issues we had. Since then everything has been great and I have returned to the shop and plan to for further work as well. Thanks again to Tammy Pfaff for correcting the situation.

*UPDATE* 12/21/16

Just went back to them again and had a even better experience than before. I not only went back because of my previous experience but also because I know they do great work. I spent a very large chunk of money just now fixing my 1999 Audi A4 (transmission and many other parts) and I would never think twice about it or who I'll go to again and again. Professionals and great staff. Thank you everyone. Tammy and Dan especially for the work they did and help they gave me.

Finding a automotive shop that is fair and knowledgeable can be very hard to find.  Your search is over. The buck stops here if you want friendly folks that get the job done right the first time. Tammy was very helpful to me and even gave me a free loaner car when they fitted me in last minute. A+++ 
This has been my 3rd visit and they now have all of my future business. I trust these people and that is important to me.
