They got that whip cream frosting!!!My fav And the cake is spongy and soft= Perfect! Their cookie selection is also amazing, almond cookies, wedding cookies and more. Love love love. We just randomly picked up a small cake for dessert and it was strawberry and peaches yummm.
I like that this place will work with you in creating any type of cake you want them too. So as far as the outside of the cake in the matter of how it looks I am always happy. How ever the taste of the cake.... I had them do a cupcake cake to facilitate the experience and not have to worry about cutting and serving to people. This way people can pretty much just grab a cupcake and go. But I felt the cupcake consistency of the bread was really heavy. And it had a peculiar taste. I have always felt that cupcake bread should be light and fluffy. So yummy that it will make you eat 2 or even 3 cupcake and you don’t even realize it. But with these I realized I couldn’t even finish the cupcake. Would I buy from here again. I don’t know. Would I recommend this place. ? If you want a really nicely decorated cake and don’t care about the flavor then go for it. Price wise. They are fair and don’t break your bank.
Happy bakery is a nice mom and pop shop in el monte. They made my grandsons 1st birthday cakewhole sheet and facial cookies. The are very reasonable with their pricing. Good job happy bakery!

We've been getting our birthday cakes at this place for over 10+years!!! Julie makes awesome cakes with pretty much any picture on the cake!!!! She also makes a killer sugar free cake for my parents!!!

Many many delicious cakes cookies. They make a little fudge balls that are extra delicious and the chocolate covered strawberries are so juicy
From the moment my husband brought me a flan from this place I keep going back. We got our wedding cake from this place. Just got a cheesecake and 2 flans for our Thanksgiving dinner with the family. Great bakery and even better service. She is professional and always smiling.
Love this place!! Always order birthday cakes and stop to pick up their mini cakes for dessert.
