Your store was neat and clean. There were only two of your people in the store and very busy checking people out. Only way to get help was go to the check stand. First thing I picked was jumbo end wrenches. Before I got to the next item the end had come open, the wrenches were all over the floor. They need to be taped.

Well organized and put together tight for a Harbour Freight. Capable friendly personnel here at this store. At this store it seemed easier than usual to find the several items I was looking for.

Update: I  was just in the store and the nice-guy cashier was telling the asst. mgr he was worried his till would be short due to returns, she responds, "simple, don't do any more returns, don't do and, I'm serious..." she went on as my transaction ended. Talk about the wrong person leading and a place that already has sub par customer service. Saturday October 21, 3:30pm.

There are some decent items in Harbor Freight's selection but what keeps it from  any higher stars is the professionalism and training of the staff. I have gone here for years and that's always the area I see as the biggest miss in this location. 

I have seen employees be rude or condescending to those not offering their phone number after asking if they receive the  flyer. I have seen customers get brushed off when they're asking questions. I have seen a manager not know specific items in the store and tell a customer, "you'll just have to look yourself, we're busy."  

I know they're told/trained to ask for customer info but taking it as a serious mission that effects professional behavior is not worth it. It's  a turn off.

As well, their cashier efficiency has always been an issue.

The reason I fault training here is because I  see plenty of opportunity to increase sales and the location's reputation by teaching the cashiers and staff how to be effective and efficient. If it were a single case or employee, I wouldn't mention it but it seems to be an issue nearly every time I shop there. It's a culture and training issue, no doubt. 

It's a great location for the store and I am sure it's one of the more (if not most) profitable stores but that is only more of a reason to improve the culture and expectations of employees.

Harbor Freight is what it is.
A much needed store in the tool world.

Hold onto your receipt, tape it to the box, do whatever you need to because no receipt no return.
