Harlan helped me get a fantastic deal on a house I love, close in, for well below the asking (and the appraised) price.
His honesty and experience kept me from making mistakes on houses I would come to agree were not good opportunities.
He was great to work with. His knowledge of the local market and all of the real estate hoops to jump through really put me at ease throughout the process. This was true when I bought my first house almost eight years ago and again when I came back to him this year.

It was so much fun to work with Harlan. I set out on an impossible task and when we found it I'm glad Harlan was there to make the quick moves needed to lock it down. Others I worked with just didn't have what it took. Would definitely recommend

I had an excellent experience working with Harlan. He is highly knowledgeable about the Portland realty market, and shows a level of dedication to his clients you rarely see anymore. It felt like I barely had to lift a finger through the whole process. He is thorough but quick, and always professional. 
	He was always available to reach, had an answer to every question, and kept me updated throughout.  I was in the market for a duplex, and he had great insight into the prospective value of homes and neighborhoods. I really could not recommend him more, and will definitely be using him for my future purchases and sales.

Harlan was highly recommended by a friend... and I'm so glad that I followed through that recommendation! 
I've been thinking for a long time to buy a house where I can set a shop. But being myself someone who try to avoid the 
transactional side of everything,  I realize now that I was subconsciously sabotaging that process. The very first day I 
met Harlan I was expecting just a formal introduction, just a meeting to put a face to the name. Well, he told me he was going 
to try to buy me a house that same very day. Given the spooky stories you hear daily about the Portland real state market, I
I found that to be a very sarcastic, funny way to break the ice. I was laughing my ass off, but I saw in his face that
he wasn't joking. Oh man, he wasn't... He land me one of my top 3 house that same day!!!

Harlan obviously has the grace to do this and I'm not going anywhere else in the future, nor my family, nor my close 
friends. He is knowledgeable, straight-forward, caring and focused. But most importantly he is very energetic. Real state is a 
fast business: that's probably his motto. 

Having a house so fast was a dream come true. Having a house so fast and being so well isolated from legal procedures and 
negotiations... well, that was a nirvana for me.

We had a great experience working with Harlan.  Our process took a bit of time as we needed to restructure other property debt, work with commercial financing and get everything set.  He was very helpful in guiding us through all the processes including discussions on 1031s.  Once we were ready, Harlan took the parameters of what we were looking for, found several options for us, and helped us purchase a great property for our portfolio.  He is very helpful, understands real estate, and is a great negotiator on your behalf!  I'm looking forward to our next purchase working with Harlan!
